Child Dedication

Are you interested in having your child dedicated? At Calvary SLO, dedicating our children is a church tradition and not necessarily an activity mandated in the Bible. The Scriptures don't explicitly command parents to dedicate their children but rather make it clear that it is the responsibility of the parents, as stewards of God, to shepherd their children to know, love, honor, and obey the Lord (Deut. 6:4-7; Eph. 6:1-4). 

We dedicate our children to allow parents the opportunity to publicly join in a covenant with God, their children, and their church family.
