Youth Group Camp Out

Join us as we unplug from our phones andconnect to God's creation! This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your youth leaders better and deepen friendships. 

There will be a cookout, bonfire with s'mores, games, nighttime hike, stargazing, worship, a time of testimony, breakfast in the morning, mini church service with communion and, of course, camping!

This event is something you WILL NOT want to miss. We hope to see you there and, as always, you are welcome to invite your friends!  
 

For Parents:

The cost is $15/child. This will cover food and drinks. 

Please be sure your child has a sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, warm clothes for the night, and close-toed shoes. 

If you do not have camping supplies, please email the church so we can help make arrangements. We want to ensure all kids can experience this fun opportunity!  

Tentative Schedule:

Saturday
2-3pm - meet at Santa Margarita Lake, set up (2PM IS CHECK IN TIME)
3-6pm - Activities? Hop in the lake? Cook dinner
6pm - Dinner!
7pm - Campfire, worship, testimony/talk
Campfires are only allowed in the designated fire pits (where are those?)
8pm - smores
8:30pm - Night hike/stargazing
9-10:00pm - late night shenanigans (flashlight tag, silent football)
QUIET HOURS 10 PM
10:00-11pm - get ready for bed, settle down
11pm - lights out, quiet time, Sleep!

Sunday 
BONUS - I’ll wake up really early for a sunrise hike (Raf)
7:30am - wake up
8:00am - Breakfast!
9:00am - circle up, Youth Group church service outside
9:30am - clean up, get ready to head back
11:00am - leave for church (11AM IS CHECK OUT TIME)
11:30am - pick up after second service
