Disciples of Jesus will live as being sent on mission, seeing people transformed by the Gospel, as Jesus was sent by the Father. Initially, Jesus directed His followers to begin simply by taking the Gospel to their immediate neighbors in Jerusalem, then to the surrounding county of Judea, then Samaria (the next county over) and ultimately to the ends of the earth.
To be "on mission" simply means to enthusiastically follow Jesus as He was "on mission" (John 20:21). Over the years we've sent many people from CSLO into a wide variety of cultures to make disciples and plant churches. The geographic scope includes domestic campus ministry (United States) to various church planting endeavors around the globe.
Because living on mission was central to the purpose of Jesus' life so too it's a major focus of ours. As a vital extension of our Church family, we hope you'll get to know a little bit about these servants, to be praying for them.

UKRAINE
Daniel + Annaliese Foote are involved in a church plant in Kagarlyk, Ukraine. Daniel pastors the church along with its founder Wayne Zschech, an Australian missionary. They previously helped in a church plant in Priluki, Ukraine. They have served in Ukraine since 2002.

Jake + Anya Knotts Jake was involved in a church plant in Priluki, Ukraine in 2000. He moved to Chernihev, Ukraine in 2003 to plant a church and married Anya, a Ukrainian. Jake also translates and publishes books on Christian theology and living for distribution in Ukriane and Russia through the ministry In Lumine. Jake and Anya have two children.

Tom + Luciana Stowe went to Brazil in 2005 to assist in the Calvary Chapel Bible College. He married Luciana, a Brazilian, in 2006 and together they moved to Joao Pessoa in northeast Brazil to plant a church. Tom previously served as a Ministry Intern at Calvary SLO.

Balazs + Leah Stanzel have been pastoring a church in Pecs, Hungary since 2007. Leah was sent out from CalvarySLO to Hungary in 2005 and there married Balazs, a Hungarian. They have two daughters.

AFRICA (currently in Pennsylvania)
Vincent + Andrea Owuor are currently in the USA where Vincent has embarked on commercial pilot training in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Andrea was sent out from CalvarySLO to Nairobi, Kenya in 2003 to work with children in the Kibera slum. She married Vincent, a Kenyan, in 2007. They plan to return to Kenya to work in aviation relief efforts. They have one daughter.

Megan Rupp Rodriguez-Casado was sent of from CalvarySLO in 2007 to serve in a church plant in Mansfield England. In December 2008 she married Cristo Rodriguez-Casado who is the youth pastor at Calvary Chaple Mansfield, where they continue to serve.

Justin Hurst is serving in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was sent out of CalvarySLO in 2008. Their team, Enfoque Ciudad nonprofit, are beginning a casa hogar (orphanage) in Guadalajara and are planting a church there too! Their ministry seeks to impact the youth of Mexico by the gospel to see people meet Jesus and in turn live new lives of loving God and their neighbors.
