New Leadership Format
Our college pastor of 5 years has gone on to begin a new season at seminary. The Rain has since been undergoing a transition to a new student leadership format; for more information on this see the information below. Services meet at the main CalvarySLO location. At 7 PM, on Fridays, Andrew Cirillo will lead us through the parables of our Lord Jesus Christ as seen in the gospel letters. We hope to see you there for worship and fellowship!
OUR MISSION
The Rain exists to Define and Disperse a generation of saints by the Grace of Christ with the Cause of Christ for the Glory of Christ until the Return of Christ.

WHAT WE DO
The Word
Each week Andrew Cirillo takes us through the Word of God. His desire is that we be edified in both mind and heart; that we not only grow in our understanding of Christ, but in our affection for Him as well.
Small Groups
The Worship
Each week we worship the Lord with song. These are times when our happiness in God is put to melody and proclaimed. Because we meet on Friday nights (and there’s no class or work the next day) there is a greater freedom to worship and wait upon Him as the Spirit leads.
The Inreach
Fellowship is a critical component of the Christian life. We take having fun with each other very seriously :) Every week there’ll be some of us hanging out late into the night. Some weeks we’ll have movies, games, food, etc. The Rain has also cruised to many places. We’ve been to Tahoe and Brian Head, Utah for snow trips; we’ve been to

WHAT WE PRAY
That there would be a generation of saints in this city that might perceive and embrace their utter dependency upon the Living God; that they might drop their knees in the dirt, lift their eyes to the sky… and beg for His rain to come.
